Document Library, formerly Document Vault, is located securely within the UnitedHealthcare Provider Portal. Most claim, prior authorization, payment (including overpayment and appeal) letters and reports, are already in Document Library. They are available the day they’re generated, so all authorized users in your organization can view them right away.
As we continue to transition from print and mail to electronic delivery, eventually all your letters and reports will be in Document Library. You can view them there, even if you’re still receiving letters in the mail.
The following reports are not in Document Library. They are located under the Documents & Reporting drop-down menu on the portal.

You don’t have to wait to go paperless. Your password owner can turn off mailed paper letters (for those available electronically) at any time using the Paperless Delivery Options tool in the UnitedHealthcare Provider Portal.
If you are an outside vendor, such as a revenue cycle management company (RCM) or billing company, you will need to reach out to each client’s password owner to turn off paper in the Paperless Delivery Options tool.
